Under a joint venture by Nippon Paint Co., Ltd (Japan) and NIPSEA Holdings International Ltd, Nippon Paint (Thailand) Co., Ltd has been established and developed to be a leading paint manufacturing and distribution of high quality paint product in Thailand.
In 1967, two parties of the shareholders agreed to form the Nippon Paint (Thailand) Company and built the first plant in Pra Padaeng District, Samutprakarn. The scope of operation includes the production of paint products for exterior use, spray coating, car paint repair, paint for heavy industry and factory, and many more.
In 1994, the second plant, Bang Pakong Industrial Estate Phase II, emerged to respond to a surging demand, as well as to enhance product development and service for industrial clients. Meanwhile, the company had relocated the production line and industrial paint sale, including the manufacturing of spray coating for automobile, motorcycle, electrical appliances and other industrial paint products to Bang Pakong plant.
The third plant has been established in 2007 on a 53-rai plot of land in Bang Pakong Industrial Estate. The facility was purpose-built for the manufacturing of water-borne coating for automobile which was the first of paint factory of this product category in Thailand. The plant is hence totally environmental friendly as it has been built to tackle the global warming
